This is also another example of docu drama. This drama has been aired in multiple countries such as United States, Canada, Uk, Netherlands, Australia and many more. This show features many different accounts of individuals and groups caught in different dangerous scenarios. This is then presented by the interviewers. One of the main reason is to see how the survivor managed to survive and any decisions they made to keep them alive.
Touching the void
This documentary is about two climbers and their perilous journey up the west face of Siula Grande in the Peruvian Andes in 1985. This is based n real life an true story. There are many aspects of this documentary which makes it docu drama. Firstly its a real story and the characters in the documentary are also real. Some of the codes and conventions which are used in this documentary is voice overs. We hear the presenter through voice overs in 0.20 seconds. The facts are also presented through voice overs allowing the audience to see the scenes while hearing facts keeping the audience engaged and entertained. The background sound at 0.49 seconds makes it more believable and engaging as you can hear the win gushing making it seem more real which also makes the audience feel part of the story. Different camera styles and techniques also make it seem more real and interesting for the audience. For example at 0.51 seconds when we see the frozen leg of the climbers we feel part of it and on a personal level we get to see the journey of the climbers. There are many interesting and unique aspects of the documentary which keeps us entertained and keeps us wanting to watch more. For example at 0.57 seconds when we see the guy fall as audience we would want to carry on watching to see what happens next. At 1.12 seconds when we see the guy fall in to the iced ground as audience we want to know what happens to him. Shots like 1.33 seconds allows the viewers to see what the scene looks like it allows the audience to feel more engaged as they are able to see the atmosphere and location in a much more clearer view.
Docu Soap: This is a documentary series which is filming the lives of the people in an entertaining way.
Hotel India
This is an example of docu soap. The main reason for this drama is to see how they present the lives of people and how they present it to the audience in a entertaining way. This documentary goes through the scenes of India's oldest and famous hotel and looks at the Taj Mahal palace hotel.

This is also another example of docu soap. This documentary is a British factual documentary following the members of the emergency services in Blackpool, Lancashire etc and how the ambulance service is throughout the UK.
Motorway Cops
This is an example of docu soap as we follow the lives of real people and their lives are filmed in a entertaining way. In this documentary we see how the cops are after people which allows us to see the lives of ordinary people. This documentary starts with an opening montage at 0.50 seconds. This allows the audience to see what happened in previous episodes. As audience we get to see footage and scenes of what's happening and facts are delivered to us through voice overs. The facts are mainly presented through voice overs such as 1.16seconds. This allows the audience to engage with the documentary as they can hear and see what is happening at the same time. There is also subtitles which makes it easier for the viewers to see which may also be a negative as some viewers may prefer not to have subtitles. The cop speaks us through what he will be doing and the issue which they will be facing, and the problems being caused. At 1. 53 seconds we get to see a shot of the road creating an impact on the audience as they are able to see the view of the cops and the position they are in. This documentary also has an interview type aspect where we see a cop talk about what they feel about this certain topic and issue. We hear what they think and also facts to back what they are saying. At 3.53 seconds when we see the shot of the drivers and how they are taken to the ambulance as audience we understand how serious the matter is and how it has affected the driver.
Infotainment: This is a documentary where the information is given on a certain topic in an entertaining way.

This is also another example of infotainment. The information presented in this program is shown in an entertaining way for the viewers which makes it much more interesting for the audience.

This is a competition program which can be classified as infotainment as the program has aspects which the audience can learn from. The process of preparing the food is shown to the audience the information is presented to the audience in an entertaining way. At the beginning 0.07 seconds we see a montage of what is going to happen. This allows the audience to look forward to what's coming up and how they can prepare for the things coming up in the show. It gives the audience a chance to know and expect things from the shwo making it more engaging and entertaining for the viewers. This program also has voice overs which makes it more informative for the audience. The presenter in this program is very entertaining through his humor, for example at 0.12 seconds. This program also has a lot of reaction shots which allows the viewers to see how the guest feel about certain comments etc. For example at o.17 seconds we see a reaction shot of a ladies face after someone commented something about her. These types of shots also has an influence on the viewers thoughts and opinions on what they personally feel and who they would support. At 5.33 seconds we see the contestant cooking and how they prepare to feed their guest. They discuss what they are going to make and also how they will make it. The presenter who is doing the voice over plays a huge part in the infotainment role as they keep the audience engaged and entertained through their comments which are humors and sarcastic creating a fun entertaining environment.
Wildlife documentary:This is a documentary on natural history. This is usually shown on public broadcasting channels and mostly to do with animal and plants, or anything which is to do with non-human living creatures.

This is an example of wildlife documentary. This is a British television program which is shown weekly about different reports on rural and environmental issues in the UK.

This is also another example of wildlife documentary. The presenter Chris Packham examines some of the weirdest natural events on the planets. The footage taken by eyewitness and new crews allows them to unravel the facts behind every story.
Animal maternity
This is documentary is on wildlife.This documentary goes through the way in which an elephant lives its life, It gives out facts on the animal and how it produces babies. This documentary has a lot of voice overs. The voice overs are usually done during the time when the presenter is giving out facts on the elephant. For example at 0.08 seconds we hear the presenter talking about the elephant and what they do. At 0.37 seconds we see visuals and clips on how the elephants produce babies. We see the clip which describes what happens and also a voice over to describe what's happening in the clip. This documentary goes through the lives of elephants and its shown in many different ways, The whole documentary is done through voice overs. This is because the documentary is much more interesting when seen visually especially when its on a topic where it is easier to understand when seeing visuals. At 2.57 seconds we see clips of what happens in the female elephants body. The way in which the documentary splits the male and females clip makes it much more easier to understand and using the same clip process allows the audience to be engaged and involved. The clip id interesting as it is described in a unique and different way compared to other documentaries,
Reality TV: This is based on unscripted situations and actual occurrences. This documentary is filmed with real life characters and how they live their life.

This is an example of reality TV. The series in which the groom has to choose everything in his wedding. From the venue, cake and the wedding dress. This show is based on lives of real people.
Baby faced brides
This is an example of reality TV. This series is based on getting married. This is about average brides and this documentary follows three couples from different parts of the country and different backgrounds.
The great British bake off
This show is classified as reality TV. This fits in the category of reality TV as it is filmed live and as the audience we follow the lives of ordinary people and how they perform their skills and different cooking styles and techniques. As the audience we get to see everything which is happening in the kitchen. For example at 0.12 seconds we see one of the contestant and what she is doing, We also see other contestant and what they are ding. For example at 0.15 seconds another contestant is describing what sh is doing while performing what she is saying. At 0,20 seconds we see the one of the judges tasting the food, This creates tension for both the contestant and the audience as they are all eager to find out what the judge has to say for it. It also about what they feel. Both the judges create an environment which is entertaining for both the contestants and viewers. The things they do have an impact on what the audience feel about them. For example at 0.37 seconds when we see the judge running with moose not letting the other judge taste it because she wanted it all to herself. This creates a fun environment as it not always the serious environment how many cook shows are. Having these aspects makes it more different and unique. This also allows the audience to be more engaged as they are watching reality TV however its not the same old usual cook show this cook show has elements which makes it more engaging and entertaining for the viewers.
Educational TV: This is based on giving the viewers a educational facts and knowledge. The educational TV can either be factual which is made for a educational purpose or fiction which is programmed.

This is an example of educational TV. This is a show which has an educational purpose and this is shown as the students are the ones to present the show. They present news on their school and allow others to gain information on their school.
NumberJacks
This is another example of educational TV. This show educates little kids and allows them to understand how to work with numbers. It teaches them different things related to maths such as addition, subtraction etc.
Mistermaker
This is also another example of educational TV. Mistermaker is a show where children learn to be creative and use their imagination. This program allows children to educate in a fun and entertaining environment. Mistermaker is creative and also entertaining allowing little children to engage and learn. The graphics and the styles used in the show is one of the main aspects which make the show more entertaining and engaging fr the children. For example at 0.21 seconds the shot would appeal to the little children as they can visually see what mistermaker is thinking. There are many aspects which make it education. Little things which make it education for example at 0.51 seconds when Mistermaker describes all the different equipment he will be using and what for. In this show Mistermaker describes everything in detail allowing the viewers to know exactly what to do and how to do it. For example at 1.31 seconds when he gives a technique as to how the audience can do what he is doing. This allows the children to try out what he is doing. Mistermaker goes in to detail so that the audience at home can also do what he is doing and find it easy to do so as he goes in to detail making it easier for the viewers at home to try the different techniques.
