3rd January 2015-
Interview with Sunita Pattani a Psychotherapist

Reccie

Train Station:

I will be doing my interview with the stress specialist in a cafe as I am unable to go to their main office. As their office is in Chelsea I wont be able to travel to their office as it is outside of London. So me and the person getting interviewed are going to meet at a cafe in Waterloo or a cafe called Royal festive cafe.

Royal Festive Hall cafe:

This is an alternative place where I want to interview the stress specialist. As this cafe is a quiet place I feel it will the best to do my interview there. I will be travelling to this cafe by train and if necessary I will get on the bus. This cafe is based in Southbank which is close to Waterloo.

Waterloo Cafe:

This is the cafe where I am hoping to film the stress specialist. This cafe is based in Waterloo and I am hoping to fill in a small part of the cafe. I want to make sure I am not in anyone's way and that there isn't much noise which is why I will be in a corner.

Sunita Pattani's clinic

I visited Sunita Pattani in her clinic. The clinic is based in Chadwell Heath which is where I met her and also interviewed her. I interviewed her in one of the rooms in her clinic where no one was present as I didn't want to get in anyones way.

Chadwell Heath Academy School

I interviewed a support teacher as well as students for my documentary. The interviews were done at times when students were at lessons which meant I didn't come on anyones way and the noise level was also decent to film with. I choose locations at school where the lighting was also good and clear.

My house

I filmed an A-level students mother in my house. I decided to film in the living room at night as the family members were all busy and in their room or upstairs. I made sure I filmed during the night as I was aware that I wouldn't come in their way if I filmed during the night.

Narrative Arc

Section 1: Disclaimer

What: The first part of my documentary will start off with a disclaimer. This will allow my audience to be aware that my documentary is for the purpose of my media project and not for the purpose of finance.

Why:This section is necessary because, allowing my audience to be aware that this documentary is for educational purposes will allow them to engage more with my documentary. This allows them to be aware that the documentary is for educational purposes.

Who:In this part of the documentary no one is visible. The only thing which will appear on the screen is the disclaimer logo and nothing else.

Location: This part of the documentary does not have a location as it is just an image which is shown on the screen.

Duration: This is important and necessary and in order for my audience to see it, it must be up for at least 5 seconds so people can see it and understand its purpose. (5 seconds)

Section 2: Title introduction

What: This part of the documentary is when I will have graphics and a voice over of what my documentary is going to be on. The title is important as the audience first get to see what the documentary will be on.

Why:This will allow the audience to be aware of what the topic on. Having an introduction slide will also be professional as the audience can see what the documentary is going to be about.

Who:This part of the documentary does not have anyone on screen as it is just graphics on what the topic is going to be about. There is no one actually visible or part g the documentary on this section specifically.

Location: There is no location needed in this section. This will be a scene with graphics and a voiceover which is why the location does not count for this section.

Duration:The duration for this will be short as it is just graphics with a voice over. I feel this ould last for 10 seconds on screen,

Section 3: Opening montage of what is going to happen

What:In this section I will have an opening montage and in this opening montage I will make sure I include what the documentary will include. Having an opening montage will be different and unique for a documentary which is why I want to do an opening montage.

Why:This is a unique idea which is not usually used in documentaries. That is one reason as to why I do want to carry it out in my documentary, I feel it will give my documentary a different touch to it. Allowing my audience to see an insight as to what my documentary will hold.

Who: In this part of the documentary I will not be in it, This is an opening sequence of all the shots. The opening montage will include all the relevant shots from the documentary into one section of the documentary.

Location:The locations will vary as throughout the documentary I will be in different places and also be apart of different location. All the locations will vary and in this section there isnt a significant location.

Duration: This section will not last long as it is an opening sequence. It will only last for about 10 seconds as I don't want to drag it out.

Section 4: Speaking about what the topic is

What:This is the section where I will speak directly to my audience, I will be speaking about the documentary title and what I want to present and find out in my documentary. Speaking about this topic will allow my audience to form a relationship with me and a presenter.

Why: If I speak to my audience about the topic it allows me to form a good relationship with the audience. Having this section will allow my audience to understand what I am going to do in my documentary.

Who: I will be in this section of the documentary as I will be speaking about what I will be finding out in the documentary.

Location: I am planning to do this in an open space for example the garden or outdoors. The reason for this is because I have my own personal space to move about and it makes the documentary more interesting.

Duration: This section will last for at least 15 seconds as I have to be able to involve everything in my documentary. I need to have enough time to briefly describe what I will be searching and finding out in my documentary.

Section 5: Vox pop

What:This is the section where I will interview random people and ask them three important questions. All the questions asked will be the same as it is necessary to make sure the questions asked are relevant to the topic. Asking the same question will allow me to see what people think personally.

Why:This is because I want my documentary to also have other people thoughts. By using vox pops it will make my documentary more interesting. It wont be basedon myself but other students in my school.

Who: I will  have different students from my school being part of the vox pops. The vox pops I feel will be interesting if I use students who are different, and some who get stressed and others who dont. It would be good to see the difference.

Location: The location is my school. I will be filming people in different parts of the school. I will try to film in different places to make it more entertaining.

Duration: The vox pop consists of 3 key questions and I will be asking 8 different students. The vox pops wont be altogether. The questions will be asked and presented in the documentary at different times, However I feel throughout the documentary it will take up to 2 minutes. This is one of the main aspects of my documentary.

Section 6: Establishing shot of school

What:This section will allow me to have a change in my documentary. Having an establishing shot will make it more visually entertaining for the audience. Establishing shots also allow the audience to know where the documentary is heading.

Why: This allows my audience to believe where I am filming. This will also make the documentary different in terms of shots as i will have a range of different shots. Establishing shots are also visually engaging and interesting to audience as they dont always want to see shots of the same thing.

Who: In this particular shot no one is involved. Its a shot of the building which is why no one has to be part of the shot.

Location: The location would be the outside of school as this is what I have decided to use as an establishing shot.

Duration:This will last for at least 5 seconds as the audience just need to be able to see the location. They don't need to see it for long and I will have graphics at the bottom allowing my audience to know where I am.

Section 6:  Interview with a Psychotherapist

What:This section is the part where I will interview a psychotherapist and find out how they deal with stress. By interviewing a Psychotherapist I can find out what they suggest people should do. I can also find out how stress affects the mind.

Who: This part will include me and the psychotherapist lady. I will be interviewing her and she would be responding to my questions.

Location: I am hoping to film in her office however incase of any difficulties I may film her in a local cafe. This is only if necessary otherwise I will film in her office.

Duration: This is an important aspect of my documentary and I will be filming this for about 1 minute. I have different questions which are required and can act as evidence in my shots. This will last at least 1 minute.

Section 7: Interview with year 12 student

What:In this section I will interview a year 12 student who has recently started a levels. I will find out what stresses this student. I will also find out how she is able to balance her subjects and whether she gets stressed and able to deal with the different subjects.

Why: This will be a different aspect in my documentary. Having a new student speaking ill show how different stages of school life also affect a person.

Who: In this section it will be me and a student in year 12. This student will talk about how they feel about sixth form, their subject and the change between GCSE and Alevel.

Location: This will be in the school. The reason for this is because I want to show that the atmosphere has importance and relates to my shots.

Duration: I don't want this section to last long as it is not necessary. I feel 20 seconds would e enough time to find out how this year 12 feels.

Section 8: Interview with lady who is a full time worker and mother

What: In this section I am filming a full time worker and mother. The reason for this is because I want to show how not only students through stress but parents also.

Why: They have a lot of responsibilities and finding out how they feel will be interesting. This will be different as my documentary is mostly based on students which is why it will be different and unique in my documentary,

Who: I will be in this section asking the questions and my aunty who is the full time worker and mother will be interviewed.

Location:I want to make it more personal so I will be filming in my house. The reason for this is because I want my audience to be aware that we share a close relationship and I understand what she does as a worker and mother.

Duration: This interview will not last long. I will ask the relevant questions and I am hoping for it to last at least 20 seconds.

Section 9: Establishing shot of the cafe

What: This is a shot of the location I will be in. This will allow my audience to be aware of where I am filming. This will allow them to see where I am and how the location relates.

Why: This allows my audience to believe where I am filming. This will also make the documentary different in terms of shots as i will have a range of different shots. Establishing shots are also visually engaging and interesting to audience as they dont always want to see shots of the same thing.

Who: No one is in this shot as it is an establishing shot of the cafe.

Location: The location is Waterloo cafe which is where I will be filming the outside of the cafe.

Duration: The duration will not last long as it is only an establishing shot of the cafe to allow my audience to be aware of the location. I feel 5 seconds shot be enough.

Section 10: Interview with stress specialist

What: This is the section where I will have an interview with a stress specialist. This will allow me to find out real facts and find out how the stress specialist helps people deal with stress.

Why: This will provide evidence for my documentary and has a good impression on my audience. They are able to see what a stress specialist advice to people when under stress and how to deal with it.

Who: This will be a interview between me and the stress specialist. We both will be in the shot and I will make sure she answers all the necessary and required questions.

Location: As the office is based outside of London it means I will not be able to travel to the office. However the stress specialist made it convenient for me by agreeing to film in cafe in Waterloo.

Duration: This interview is evidence for my documentary which is why the duration will last for at least 1 minute. The facts will be important and necessary to use in my documentary.

Section 11: Different ways to reduce stress

What: I will use facts from my interviews to allow my audience to be aware of how to reduce stress. I will use my interviews as evidence and talk my way through this section by providing educational facts that will help and motivate people.

Why: This is presenting facts to my audience. Using my interview as evidence I can present facts and information to my audience. This will provide educational information for my audience.

Who: I will be discussing this, however I may add the interview at the bottom to show that I have evidence to what I am saying.

Location: The location will be in the garden. The reason for this is because I will use the garden as a location of relaxation. I will also like to show my audience that the garden can be a relaxing atmosphere for my audience.

Duration: This will not last long as I already have evidence for this. It will last for at least 10 seconds.

Section 12: Park-exercising

What:This section is where I will be exercising and allow my audience to be aware that one way to deal with stress is also through exercise.

Why:This will show my audience visuals of what I am actually doing. By filming this they are able to see that I have evidence to back my facts also with the details I put in my documentary.

Who: I will be part of this and anyone who wishes to take part will be welcome to. However I need people permission before I start filming with them in my shots.

Location: This is based in the park.I will start off with running in the park and use running as a form of exercise in my documentary

Duration:I will film this again for only 10 seconds as that its enough time to show different forms of exercising as well as running in the park.

Section 13: How I felt after exercise

What: It is important that I allow my audience to know how I felt after exercising. As this is one of the methods I have to do to deal with stress. Using this method I will also have to make sure that I allow my audience to be aware of how I feel after exercising.

Why: This will allow my audience to know exactly how I felt. Everyone feels a certain way and sharing my emotions will allow me to form a relationship with my audience.

Who: I will solely be describing how I feel. I may have people in the background exercising to show the atmosphere. However I will be the only one describing how I personally feel.

Location: This will be based in the park. I will start off with running in the park and use running as a form of exercise in my documentary. Thereafter I will talk about how I felt,

Duration:I will film this again for only 10 seconds as that its enough time to talk about how I felt. It will also allow my audience to see how I felt and be a part of my journey.

Section 14: Meditation

What:This is the section where I will actually meditate and see how meditation feels. Using meditation as one method to deal with stress is my plan and what I am planning to do in my documentary, I feel meditation will be an important aspect of my documentary as it is different and one way to deal with stress.

Why: This is part of my experiment and I get to see which method helps best when dealing with stress. It also allows me to see which method I prefered for my own convenience.

Who: This will be me and anyone else who is willing to be filmed while meditating. I need to get permission as to who wont mind being in it before filming as i cant film without people permission.

Location:This will be based in a gym. I will film people in the gym and I will also be meditating in a gym where they do meditation as an exercise to relax.

Duration: I don't want to film myself meditating for long. I feel I only need to show at least 10 seconds for people to be able to understand how they should meditate.

Section 15: How I felt after meditation

What:This is the section where I will speak about how I feel after mediating. Its important to allow my audience to know how I felt as they are also part of this journey to know what methods are best and which method is most useful.

Why: This is a section where I have a personal touch to my documentary. By showing how I personally feel after meditation will allow my audience to see the journey along side with me and how they believe I feel.

Who: I will be part of this and I will also have people meditating with me however I will be the one sharing my experience.

Location: This will be in the gym  and I will make sure I also film how I feel straight after doing it in the gym. That would be interesting and also allow my audience to see how I felt. I will also be able to express myself more after doing it.

Duration: This wont last long as I don't want to drag it. The audience just need t know how I feel. I feel 10 seconds should be enough to describe how I felt.

Section 16: What I feel helped  best

What: This part of the documentary is when I will mention which method is best and I will also provide evidence for this. I will explain why I feel it helped best and what changes I have personally felt after going through these methods and trying out different methods.

Why:This will allow my audience to be aware of which method they should use when they are going through a stressful stage. Ir will allow them to understand what they must do and provide help for them.

Who:I will be speaking about this and I will use my interview with the specialist as evidence to back what I am presenting to the audience. Me speaking to the audience will be more accurate and reliable if I use evidence which I have found out personally.

Location:This will be outside to change the location up a little. Speaking outside will not restrict me from moving around. It will allow me to move around freely while speaking about what method is best.

Duration:This part of the documentary will be important and necessary to include. I dont want to make it long as other sections emphasis on this however I feel 30 seconds is enough time to speak about what method is best.

Section 17:Summary of what I will do to deal with stress

What:This part if where I will have different shots on screen and with voice over I will explain what the shot is on, This summary will provide information and educate the audience as to what methods audience should do to deal with stress.

Why:This is the best way to allow audience to understand as to how they can deal with stress. Showing the audience a summary and speaking with a voice over will be more engaging than standing in front of the camera.

Who: I will be part of this section. As I will be speaking in the voice overs. I will be speaking through the shots which is why I will be part of this section.

Location: The location varies as I will be in different locations in the shots. The locations will vary from the park to cafe etc.

Duration:This is also an important section and by using different shots and speaking through voice overs I will present facts to my audience. These facts will come from my interview with specialist, This will last 10 seconds.

Section 18: Conclusion of what I have found out

What:In this part of the documentary I am planning to talk directly to the camera. This will be me talking in to the camera about what I have found out and what I feel is the best way to reduce and overcome stress. I will do different tasks were I personally experience it however this is the part where I tell the audience about which technique is most helpful.

Why:This will allow my audience to see what I feel best helped. It will also allow my audience to educate from the information which I have received. In order for my audience to see which mentioned helped best to deal with stress I have to do a conclusion as well as presenting evidence.

Who: In this part of the documentary I will be pat of the documentary, Again I will speak in the documentary about the different methods I tried out and which one was the best. Which method helped best and which method was most useful.

Location: This will be filmed in the classroom as I will be sitting down when speaking about which method helped best. I will speak in brief about every section apart from the section which helped the most.

Duration:This part of the documentary will be where I will be speaking about which method helped best. I will be speaking about the method which is best suitable and helpful. As I will be covering a lot in this section I feel it will make up to 30 seconds.

Section 19: Ending montage of everything in the documentary with facts on stress

What: This is an ending scene where I want to merge all the part of the documentary together. I will use background sound to make it more interesting and enjoyable for the audience.

Why:I feel this will be a different element to the documentary. I also feel this element will be interesting as it will be a little recap for the audience to see what the documentary has in it. This part will also allow the people to remember what the documentary emphasised on and what people must do to deal with stress.

Who: In this part of the documentary no one will be visible however there will be a background song to make it interesting. I will use stress relief music which is calm piano music as I will also use this during the title introduction and to re use it will be a good ending.

Location:This part of the documentary does not have a location. All the scenes will be shown which means that the locations will vary and will overall be everywhere I plan to visit in my documentary.

Duration: This is the ending and I am planning not to make it too long as al these shots have been shown. I feel 20 seconds should be enough and also the right length to go through a recap of what has taken place in the documentary.

Proposal

Aims: My first aim for the documentary is to find out how stress effects peoples daily life and how it effects my target audience. The main reason for this is because they are the ones who usually get stressed over school/work life. The aim is to show the 16-24 year old that have stress and the reason as to why they have stressed. It is very important and by showing them real footage of someone speaking about how stress affects them and how they overcome it would help by showing people the affects of stress.

Content: The main areas of the content will be focusing on is first the expert interview. This is where I will personally go to the experts to get reliable and more believable information on stress and how a stress specialist helps people deal and overcome stress. The second section of the documentary would be the study and research. I plan to have a huge amount of footage to be on an interview with the specialist and what I personally gain from her and how I use it in my life. I will also include people who are affected by stress and how it affects their daily life. The last section would be the conclusion of the documentary. I would allow the viewers to be aware and to make sure they don't let stress affect their life in a negative way.

Target audience: My target audience for my documentary is 16-24 year old. This target group watch channel 4. I will be following the brief entirely as the cast from the documentary are mainly between the ages of 14-24 with the exceptions of some experts.  The study will be carried out by myself and people involved in the documentary will be of the target age range.  The audience are both males and females. I will try to involve both males and females in my documentary. I personally wanted different genders in my documentary so that appeals to both audiences.

Format: The mode I will be using is performative and informative as I will focus the documentary mainly on myself, as a person who gets stressed easily. As I will take part in the documentary and i will also be presenting information to my target audience. I will presents facts and expert opinions to make sure my audience have learnt something from my documentary.

Genre: This documentary is going to focus mainly on informing and educating the audience. I will do this by doing interviews which will be shown in my documentary. My main aim for the documentary is to give facts. This is because documentaries provide the audience with a narrative which is usually based on the facts and figures found after research and expert interviews. For my documentary I will try to find out why stress affects people and what is the best way to overcome stress. I have a clear narrative as to how I want my documentary to look and how I will present different facts to attract my target audience.

Style:
Camera: In my documentary I will make sure that the camera language used is precise and accurate. I will make sure the filming is formal and use a tripod to ensure I have good camera shots which are steady.  This will also allow my audience to be aware that this documentary is serious and also informative as well as educational. I will also be using mid shots in my documentary as I have interviews. The relationship between the interviewee should be personal towards the audience. Using mid shot will also allow my audience to see the facial expressions of the interviewee.

Graphics: In my documentary I am not planning to use a lot of graphics as it is not required. If necessary I would use voice overs however I may use graphics to allow my audience to be aware of who I am interviewing and what their name is.This will ensure that I have a formal environment and my documentary is serious and educational.

Sound: The sound in my documentary will be the voice of the interviewer and interviewee. I will make sure that there isn't much background noise as this is irrelevant. However I may use a opening and closing sound to create more exciting atmosphere.

Mise-on-screen: In my documentary I will be showing different people who are affected by stress. I will also be interviewing these people and experts in different locations. The locations will be significant to who they are. For example an interview with the teacher will be in a school.

Editing: In my documentary I am hoping to use a lot of cuts and also keep to the pace of the documentary. I also want to use voice overs and have graphics were needed. For example the name of the interviewee and what they do as a profession.

Analysing the competition

Obsessive compulsive cleaners:

The name of the show is 'Obsessive compulsive cleaners'. This show is about a group of people
who are obsessed with cleaning. They team up to clean some of Britain's dirtiest homes. This show is on channel 4 and usually broadcasted during the night at 12 am. This clearly indicates that the show is targeted towards older people such as parents or older children. This show is specifically presented at this time as they aware that their target audience will be watching TV during this time as they usually are home after work and school, so they have the time to chill and watch TV.This show has 2,600 views from the past week. This clearly shows how the audience are involved and engage with the show. The show has a high viewing figure which means the audience are engaged and also interact with the show by making sure they watch it.Obsessive compulsive cleaners has similarities to my show as cleaning too much or not cleaning at all can lead to stress. People can become stressed over minor issues such as the house not being cleaned so they become stressed at the amount of workload and cleaning they have to do. For example at 0.52 as audience we can tell the lady is getting frustrated and stressed by the amount of dirt and filth in the house.I would make sure that my show comes on after this show at 12.30 as I feel in order to target my audience I have to show them what stress is about. Having this show on before mine will ensure that the target audience of that show are interested in watching something which can explain why certain people get stressed over certain issues. Obsessive compulsive cleaners will ensure that the audience are aware that some people get stressed when there is a lot of mess and some people get stressed when they are told what to do. At 10.30 her tone of voice indicated that she was annoyed as she getting told what to do.

Confessions of a copper:

The name of this documentary is 'Confessions of a copper'. This show about 'The “confessions” concerned the career stories of eight former police officers, who were impressively candid about some former misdemeanors (always perpetrated by their colleagues)'.This documentary is on channel 4 and this documentary was broadcasted at 10.00 in the evening. This was the time slot for this show as it is not suitable for those under 16 which means the time slot would have to be when adults have access to the TV. This show has similarities to my documentary as the person who is confessing what they have done is under a lot of stress. Usually when a person is under stress they mention that which people may not have expected them to reveal.
My show would beat the viewing figures of this show as I would make sure I have my documentary on after this show at 11.00. This show received 3,942 views over the past week. This clearing indicates that this show is also a popular show however it also means that the audience enaged and entertained by this how will also be interested in my show as it links to stress. They will see the link and decide to also watch my documentary. The reason for this is because I am interested in the audience who are watching this show as it is likely that they will also enjoy my documentary. Having my documentary on straight after will also ensure that I gain more audiences awareness as they are in that mood of crime and confession and stress links well with confessions. Also how stress can be a good thing in certain situations such as confession time.

Supersize vs Superskinny:

The name of this show is 'Supersize vs superskinny'. Its a show were they get someone over weight and a person under weight to change meal plans to help them gain or lose weight. The people who are part of this show are interested in losing or gaining weight according to what they have experienced and compared to their health issues. This show is on Channel 4 its on during daytime 9.30-17.30. The reason why this is the time slot for this show is because it is likely that the show will receive the most viewers at this time. During this time its likely that adults will access to the TV and will have time to watch TV. The viewing figures for this show this week is 281,000 views. This is extremely high for a week which clearly indicates this is a popular show which attracts viewers to the show. This show also has loyal viewers who always watch every episode as they are interested and find this show engaging and amusing. This show has similarities to my documentary as it is also to do with stress. For example the people who are involved in this show such as the over weight person and under weight person, its obvious that they are stressed related to their weight and health as they have agreed to come and take on a challenge. They are either stressed at this point or throughout the show. For example when they have to switch food plans. At 16.20 the facial expressions shows how the lady is uncomfortable and does not want to eat. However as part of her challenge she must eat. Also at 21.26 its obvious that the lady is getting stressed related to her health and she wants to make a change to her diet and what she eats during the day. At 23.46 its also obvious that the other lady is getting stressed and tensed as she is hungry. She is tensed and wants to eat, not eating is getting her stressed and angry. In order to get the lady more motivated and happy they decide to bring her mum  and daughter as this will help reduce her stress level at 24.26. I will make sure that my show beats this show in terms of viewing figure as I will make sure I have my show on at 18.00. The reason for this is because, this will ensure that the viewers of this show are considering to watch what comes on after. They will see a link between both shows and it will encourage them to watch what comes on after this show. It also means that the show after has a link which is also as engaging as this show.

Five key question for my documentary

1- What is stress?

'Stress is caused by two things. Primarily it is down to whether you think situations around you are worthy of anxiety. And then it's down to how your body reacts to your thought processes. This instinctive stress response to unexpected events is known as 'fight or flight'. Stress is something which affects a person and how they deal with their daily life. At times the way in which people deal with stress is different to other people. Stress affects peoples daily life by causing them to react or behave a certain way. Some people can easily reduce the amount of stress they have by forgetting their problem however, some people allow the problem to affect them which causes them to be stressed. Some people deal with stress calmly and use meditation and exercise to help them. However some people are not calm and deal with stress by keeping it on their shoulder. A person can respond to stress through fight or flight. 'The fight or flight response was first noted by one of the early pioneers in stress research, Walter Cannon. In 1932 he established that when an organism experiences a shock or perceives a threat, it quickly releases hormones that help it to survive'. This is an experts opinion on how people respond to stress. The fight or flight theory basically means do you confront your stress by fighting against it or do you turn away from stress and run away from it.

2-Why do people get stressed?

'A US study by Professor Shelley Taylor found that women cope with stress better than men because of their female hormones'. According to 'A US study by Professor Shelley Taylor' she found of Women actually deal with stress better than men. This is interesting as personally I thought men would deal with stress better as women tend to get more stressed than men.  However according to research men tend to get more stressed than women and they also deal with stress better than men. This will help me when presenting facts to my audience as it will allow me to experiment weather people are aware of this fact or weather people need to be told this. I will try my best to do an experiment were I ask different public members weather they feel men or women get more stressed. Thereafter I will use my research and present what I have found out.

3-How can people overcome stress?

Men and women tend to overcome stress differently. They use different techniques to help them overcome stress however at times it depends on what the person is stressed on as to how they deal with it. 'Stress management starts with identifying the sources of stress in your life'. This allows the person to be aware of how to overcome stress. I will use this fact to inform my audience that people can overcome stress if they figure out what they are stressed about. one way in which people can deal with stress and how they can overcome it is avoiding unnecessary stress.

Stress management strategy #1: Avoid unnecessary stress

Not all stress can be avoided, and it’s not healthy to avoid a situation that needs to be addressed. You may be surprised, however, by the number of stressors in your life that you can eliminate.
  • Learn how to say “no” – Know your limits and stick to them. Whether in your personal or professional life, taking on more than you can handle is a surefire recipe for stress.
  • Avoid people who stress you out – If someone consistently causes stress in your life and you can’t turn the relationship around, limit the amount of time you spend with that person or end the relationship entirely.
  • Take control of your environment – If the evening news makes you anxious, turn the TV off. If traffic’s got you tense, take a longer but less-traveled route. If going to the market is an unpleasant chore, do your grocery shopping online.
  • Avoid hot-button topics – If you get upset over religion or politics, cross them off your conversation list. If you repeatedly argue about the same subject with the same people, stop bringing it up or excuse yourself when it’s the topic of discussion.
  • Pare down your to-do list – Analyze your schedule, responsibilities, and daily tasks. If you’ve got too much on your plate, distinguish between the “shoulds” and the “musts.” Drop tasks that aren’t truly necessary to the bottom of the list or eliminate them entirely.

4-Who is affected by stress?

People dealing with stress are not the only ones affected by stress. There are many people who are affected such as the people involved in their daily lives. 'Take time to do mindfulness exercises with your family and coworkers, inquiring how different emotions feel, physically and mentally. Mindfully experience love, anger, fear, hate, jealously, stress, grief, gratitude and happiness. Share your feelings as you mindfully explore the power of your emotions'. This clearly allows us to outline the fact that the people who are also affected by stress is the person dealing with it and family. The people who you are always around are likely to be affected by your emotions as your behaviour and attitude towards them will also be different. One factor which will help is trying to involve your family in any activities you decide to take in order to deal with your stress.

5- How do men and women deal with stress differently?

'One of the most important reasons why men and women react differently to stress is hormones. Three play a crucial role: cortisol, epinephrine, and oxytocin'."People used to think there was a difference in the amounts of cortisol released during a stressful situation in women," says Robert Sapolsky, PhD, professor of neurobiology at Stanford University.
The facts from the expert professor allows me to present the information and allow my audience to be aware of what they may not know. 'Stress management can be taught to both men and women, and more importantly, they can practice it together. Inner work, such as meditation and yoga, are effective in managing stress. Exercise, diet, and a normal sleep regimen are also effective in reducing stress'. This means that both men and women deal with stress differently however they can help each other and overcome stress together. There are also many ways in which people can deal with stress and also overcome it. Looking for the right technique and the technique which best helps you as an individual is the best way to treating it.

Focus group video feedback

Initial idea one: Why do people have animal phobia?

In this video I pitched my first initial idea which was 'why do people  have animal phobia'. As someone who is always scared of animals especially dogs I decided doing a documentary on phobias would be interesting. I received good feedback which helped me in improving my ideas and also helped me decide weather this topic was actually a good idea. From the feedback I received this was a good documentary idea however I feel it would be hard to present someone with a phobia infront of their phobia, as this may have a negative affect. This being my main limitation may cause problems for my documentary.

Initial idea two: How insomnia affects your daily life?

In this video I pitched my second  initial idea which was 'how insomnia affects your daily life'. I felt this topic would be interesting to document as I am also someone who suffers from insomnia and being able to discuss how I personally feel would allow me to portray to my audience that some peoples daily lives are more affected than others. I personally feel that my target audience are not really aware of what insomnia actually is. The feedback I received allowed me to think about how I could potentially make my documentary. It allowed me to think about how I could make the documentary more interesting by doing a vlog and showing how myself and a friend suffering from insomnia both react at different times of the day.

Initial idea three: Why do I have stress?

In this video I pitched my third and final initial idea which was 'Why do I have stress'. As someone who gets stressed really quickly I deciding doing a documentary on myself and why I get stressed would be an interesting documentary. This documentary could also help me improve my stress levels and help me deal with stress. The feedback allowed me to think of other ideas such as doing a vlog on when I feel stressed as it will add a realism to the documentary. Another idea suggested was doing a 'before and after' and showing how it helped or did not help me through the process. After receiving the feedback and suggestions on how I could improve my documentary idea I feel this topic idea is the best one out of the three. I have decided to make this my final choice as I have received good feedback and good suggestions which I could potentially use when doing my documentary.

Initial ideas for my documentary

Class ideas for my documentary

These are the different types of ideas I have gathered from my class mates about different ideas which I could potentially use for my documentary. Considering these ideas I have also decided to consider what I personally feel about different situations and which topic am I personally more interested in. The topics I have decided to do is one of the following:

-Why do I have stress?
-How does insomnia affect peoples daily life?
-Why do people have animal phobias?

The reason I have decided to do one of the above is because I personally can get involved in the topics and also because I feel these topics are different and unique to what people have done in the past. I feel either of the three topics I have decided to do will be beneficial for myself as well as my target audience as they could learn about different things which they may not have known before. I also feel these topics are interesting and to find out more about them interests me as an individual.

Factual TV rules for beginners

Accuracy
Accuracy is providing the audience with news and facts which are real. To be able to provide evidence and  to illustrate the facts being provided is reliable. This rule is important as the producer gains public awareness however if the audience find out the information presented is false the presenter will make a huge loss as they will lose loyal viewers.

Good Example- Nuclear secrets

Nuclear secrets is a good example of accuracy as it presents facts and figures which are backed up by evidence. A documentary which has archive footage is providing evidence of the facts being presented. At 26.49 we see archive footage which back what the presenter is saying. The voice over describes the archive footage. Throughout the documentary we see key events taking place and achieve footage to show what happened. Thereafter there is also a voice over to describe what's happening in the archive footage. Having archive footage is more reliable as it allows the audience to fully believe what is told to them. Archive footage is At 36.51 we see footage with graphics allowing the audience to know the time this was at. Having the date and year allows the audience to have an idea of when this all took place. At 36.35 again we see archive footage with a voice over describing what's happening. At 40.50 the graphics displayed mentions 'original KGP footage' this allows the audience to know this was one of the original footage which was part of the evidence used in the documentary. The voice over provided the facts along with what was presented in the clip.

Bad Example- Crime watch

Crime watch would be classified as a bad example of accuracy. The reason for this is because they are recreate the scenario giving it a story despite the fact that they report the real life event which takes place. The fact that they create a story out of it to make it much more dramatic makes it lose its accuracy. Also some of the scene which we see as audience may not have been like that in real life. For example they may have people there who were not there during the actual time of the incident. These are the factors which make it lose its accuracy. For example at 45.15 they must have shot that scene to add a narrative to the story. It makes the story visually appealing for the audience to see certain action scene allowing them to engage with the narrative. However shots like 46.37 are shots of incidents which actually took place and having them scenes is evidence that it actually happened. It allows the audience to believe that which is told to them. At 50.09 when we see the presenter talking and the people also there on the phone are only there to create a sense of feeling that they are working again this takes the whole accuracy f the show away as we know this is only to create a narrative.

Balance

Balance is when the TV programme is fair to both the sides being presented. The topic is always fair and equal, The story always shows both sides of the argument. This allows the audience to decide which side they feel is right, only by presenting them with the facts. This also allows the audience to see which side of the argument they want to support as no one is influencing their opinion however the facts being presented will have an influence on their opinion.

Good Example- Question time

Question time is a good example of balance. This is because we see both sides of the argument and the audience are left to decide which side of the argument they want to support. The presenter is neutral as they have no say and their job is just to present the facts. At 0.41 we see the presenter introducing the show giving facts and explaining how the show works. At 1.59 we hear one of the guest giving his opinion on the question asked. Thereafter we have another member giving their opinion on what the other member has said at 4.35. At 6.08 we sense tension as they start to have issues with what is being told however in this show they all have equal rights to give their own opinion and no one has control over what they can say. At 6.29 they begin to argue, this creates drama and tension which keeps the audience entertained and engaged despite being a fact which should not be part of the show. However at 6.31 they calm down and listen to each other as they have to portray their thought in a manner which will ensure that the audience side with them.  Having both sides of the argument being presented allows the audience to make a decision as to who they want to support and who they feel is right.

Bad Example- Murdered by my Boyfriend

This is a bad example of balance. The reason as to why this is a bad example of balance is because only one side of the topic is discussed. It has no balance as the boyfriend's side of the story is not presented to the audience. At 25.52 we see the lady being treated badly. This allows the audience to see how she is being treated and how she is suffering. At 26.42 we see how the lady is speaking to the police, the voice over is also describing hat is taking place. However the voice over is talking from the ladies side of the story. This show is siding with the lady, the voice overs are also describing what the lady is going through. Again at 34.08 we hear the voice overs and how they are describing the actions of the lady. At 36.48 the voice over goes on about how the lady is feeling however we never see the voice over taking side or discussing the actions of the guy. At 39.27 we see how the lady is being punished. We continue to hear the voice overs even at 40.40 when it describes the action of the lady.

Impartiality

Impartiality views both sides and opinions equally and not to take any sides. The presenter should not give their own opinion or make their own personal judgement. The way in which the presenter presents the show must be fair and they should not have any input in giving opinions, the presenter must only present facts and figures.

Good Example-  Supersize vs superskinny

A good example of impartiality is supersize vs superskinny. The reason for this is because we see both supersize and super skinny and how the presenter does not side with either. At 2.32 we see the lady which is super skinny giving opinion on the supersized lady. Thereafter we see hear the presenter describing both the members however this is all facts at 3.00. The presenter does not give his opinion on the ladies, we do not hear him making his own personal judgement on the ladies either. At 3.17 the voice over is also stating the facts about both the ladies while we see visual scenes of both the ladies. At 22.08 the voiceover states the facts if what is happening. We see how the skinny lady is unable to finish the burger however the don't hear the presenter giving their own personal opinion we only hear the presenter stating the facts, which is the lady is unable to finish the burger.  At 27.50 we see the skinny lady giving her opinion the food which was given to her.

Bad Example- Jeremy Kyle

A bad example of impartiality is Jeremy Kyle. The reason why this is a bad example of impartiality is because the presenter gives his personal opinions on the topic being discussed. At 6.13 we see how the presenter voices his opinion. Straight away this allows the audience to know that this show is not a good example of impartiality as the setting and the way of the show go against the true meaning of impartiality. At 13.42 we see how the presenter states facts which indirectly he sides with. At 20.43 we see how the presenter tries to create an atmosphere where its much more relaxed however, both the guest are stressed and trying to present their side of the argument. At 21.28 we see how the presenter casually walks away after stating a shocking fact which leaves the lady devastated.

Subjective/ Objective

Subjective is when you give your own opinion or judgment whilst discussing a certain topic which is often the opposite of objectivity. This is more of when people give their opinion on facts and decide what they personally feel about the topic.

Objective is when you see facts and figures to back an argument. The presenter is not biased as they present the facts and figures and show evidence for what they present to the viewers. The presenter has to show both sides of the argument.

Good Example of subjective- Panorama

This is a good example of subjectivity. This is because it presents the opinions and judgements of the topic being discussed. At 0.53 we hear the voiceover and thereafter we see a guy speaking and giving his opinion on the topic. The voiceover discuss facts and making judgements on the topic at 1.52. At 2.10 we can tell the presenter is stating different things which are taking placing however giving stating facts with their own opinion on certain issues and the situations. At 4.40 we see this the presenter also stating facts and giving his own opinion on the buildings which we see on screen. At 8.28 the presenter states his own opinion on the issue and thereafter mentions how he may be wrong. This allows the audience to see how most things presented by the presenter is his own opinion and judgment along with some facts which should be presented so the audience have things which have evidence for allowing them to believe what is told. Having evidence such as archive footage will ensure the audience believe what told as it is more reliable with facts along with visual evidence.

Bad Example objective- Gadget show

This is a bad example of objectivity as the presenter is also mentioning their own opinion with stating facts and it is also fair. The presenter is not biased in any way as he presents both sides of the topic. At 0.14 we see visuals and hear a voice over about both the products which is being presented and reviewed. At 0.24 we hear the presenter through voice over and on screen we see what the presenter is talking about. We also see graphics with facts which the presenter is talking about. The graphics is information on the product such as the price and when the product is going to be released. At 0.34 when the presenter describes the product through voice over the scene is showing us what the presenter is describing. Again at 0.55 we hear voice overs of the presenter giving us facts which we can see. Allowing the audience to see while speaking through voice over allows the audience to be engaged. The audience will find it more entertaining to see the product instead of seeing the presenter which is not relevant to the product. At 2.00 we see the presenter describing a game and when its going to be released. Again the presenter talks through voice over and describes the game equally giving all the information of the game.

Opinion

Opinions is giving your own thoughts on a topic being discussed. This is when people give their own ideas and judgement. They make sure they are able to show why they feel a certain way about what they feel.

Good Example- X Factor

This is a good example of opinion. The reason for this is because the judges give their opinion on what they felt of the singing. They make sure they give their thoughts and how the singer performed. If they enjoyed it and liked it they mention it but and also give their vote by saying yes. If however they do not like the singing they will make it clear by giving feedback and also by making sure they give their points on what they should improve. At 0.04 when the performer begins to sing the camera is from behind the performer allowing the audience to see the judges. This allows the audience to make a judgment by seeing the judges expressions. At 0.07 the camera shot is a full body length shot allowing the audience to see how the performer is using the guitar whilst singing. At 0.09 we see a close mid shot allowing the audience to engage with the presenter. At 0.18 we see one of the judges, the camera shot is a closeup allowing the audience to see the expressions of the judges and also make a decision on what they think the judge is feeling. At 0.24 its a closeup of the performer singing, this allows the audience to see the performer and how they are whilst performing. For example is the performer really in to the music or are they performing with less energy etc. At 0.26 we see another judge and her reaction. At 0.27 she begins to smile which indicates that she is happy with the singing and is pleased. At 0.36 one of the judges is also smiling which allows the audience to believe that he is also enjoying the singing and approves of it. At 0.47 we see the judges making eye contact and this allows the audience to decide and say their own opinion as to weather they enjoy it and agree with the judges or disagree with the judges. We see the last judges expression at 0.54 which is also smiling which gives a clear hint that all four judges enjoyed the singing and they are pleased with it. At 1.00 we begin to see what the judges thought. This thereafter relates to opinion as we see what they personally felt about the singing. At 1.15 we see the performer mentioning something which makes the judges laugh, this creates meaning that the atmosphere is not so serious and the presenters are allowed to say as they please. This also allows the audience to see how the performer is as a person, allowing them to make their own opinion on the performer and how they sang. At 1.38 the judges begin to give their vote, this is their own opinion and the audience are left to decide as to whether they agree with the judge or weather they are against what the judge has decided. At 1.54 once all the judges have given their opinion the performer leaves the stage.

Bad Example-

At 2.28 we already see how one of the members goes straight in to giving their own point on the issue being discussed. More than giving their own opinion they speak in general and give facts instead of actually giving their own opinion. At 5.14 we see how each person is giving their own opinion forward, this confuses the audience as they are unable to decide which member opinion is more significant. The fact that so much is being discussed and having more than one persons opinion on one issue creates a lot of tension and problem for the audience as they are unable to see what they actually have to think about. At 9.50 we also see how the audience give their opinion on the issue. This is being discussed however everyone is saying what they want but no one is giving opinion which will allow people to make a judgement and decide for themselves as to what they actually believe. This show is not only about what the members think infact it is on what the audience also have to say to certain issues or what they have to say in regards to what the members have already mentioned. At 12.45 we see how they see facts and figures so this is not solely on what they personally feel infact its their opinion on what they have found out or what they have understood from what had been described to them. 14.01 also allows the audience to see hwo opinion are not taken in to account and everyone is just trying to get their own personal point access. No one is actually living their opinion on the issue.

Bias

Bias is when one side is being supported. When one side of the argument is discussed more than another and how it affects the audience. Showing the audience one side of the argument will have an effect on what they believe as they are likely to believe what is presented to them,.

Good Example-Supersize me

At 0.05 straight away goes on to how it will affect the guy. This already indicates how it is going to be bias and one sided as they are only showing how it will affect him in a negative manner. At 0.48 we see how the guy is carrying out this experiment and as audience we know its not a healthy thing to do and it will affect the man. This also shows how we as audience are being bias as we are already aware that it will affect the man and make his life difficult. At 0.53 we see how it is affecting him, the way he talks also changes and his emotions and how comes across to people as changes. At 1.02 we see a huge change and this only indicates that the food has had a negative affect on his life. As audience to make that judgment from what we have seen is bias however it is true as we can see from the visual clips as to how he is behaving.  At 1.40 we see how the food has had a negative affect on the man as he is now sick. His body can no longer take in the food which he has been having for a number of days.

Bad Example-Big brother

This is a bad example of bias as the presenters are not bias, neither are the contestants or the contest which is evicted.  At 0.48 we see how different people were described however this was not bias as it was not only on one person. Also different people were also described and spoken about. At 1.04 we see how each member said a different thing about each other. Also by having them say it in private made it more personal and also not bias as they said what they had to say and no one had a say and influence on what they have to say. At 5.04 we also see how the audience have a say and this is not bias as they are saying what they feel, so giving their own opinion on this issue and how it affects them as a whole. At 10.50 when we see one of the guest speaking we also see how this is not bias as he gives his own opinion on the issue and does not side with one thing infact he mentions what he feels and what he personally thought. At 11.07 we see how the guest is mentioning some things were he beings to be bias and side with what he has to say. However the fact that this wwholeshow is not bias is the main thing. The reason it does not come across as bias as everyone has a say and its more on peoples opinion. People opinions are usually different meaning it will not be bias as we all think about different issues differently to other people.

Representation

Representation is showing how a topic or situation is presented in a certain way. The way in which it is presented and shown to the audience. Representation will also ensure that the audience understand what is shown to them.

Good Example-Human Mammal, Human hunter

At 0.07 we see how this straight away starts with a presenter explaining that its happening forming a representation of what they are going to do. At 0.25 we see how the voice over describes the people again forming a representation allowing the audience to make a judgement and form their own idea and opinion on these people. At 1.05 we see how they show different parts and different aspects of the show. This allows the audience to form a representation depending on what they are actually doing. At 2.03 we see how each individual is represented in a differently. This then allows the audience to see how the representation of each men is different according to what they have done and what they can actually. Despite having the same goals in this issue all the men are represented differently as they each have a unique technique in what they do. Such as the guy who is the fastest runner which is shown at 2.24 when he is running after the animal. The voice over also represents the man as a fast runner allowing the audience to see this and also make a judgement as to how it is actually true. A 4.19 when we see the guy walking fast after the animal we instantly see how both the guys have been represented and presented in two different manners, This also indicates how they are not the same and how it has an affect on what we think and believe.
Bad Example- Benefit street

This is a bad example of representation as only one side is represented. The way in which it is presented is to make the audience believe that everyone in that situation reacts the same way however they are only represented in that way which makes the audience believe what is presented to them. At 0.08 when we see the first lady, instantly as audience we make a judgement depending on her tone of voice and how she is reflecting her character. However as audience we forget that every individual is different meaning people in the same situation not act the same. At 0.33 we see how this lady is actually trying to prove to the audience how these people on benefits are not actually presented how they should be. At 0.45 we see how she is trying to make it clear as to how people are being judged and presented in the wrong way. Infact she makes it clear how everyone is now being judged and the wrong interpretation of these people are being made. Infact this also proves how different thoughts are not presented on this show and how people are not shown as what they really are. At 1.11 the surrounding in which the lady is in also has an affect on what the audience believed. The audience will form an opinion and the media will also make sure they use the surroundings to form a  representation and have an affect on what the audience have to say. At 1.30 she mentions how the audience do not want to see outside, they want to see and believe what is provided to them, which at a certain extent is true.

Access and privacy

Access and privacy is that of which the media has access to. The information they give out is what they have access to however what they show can not fully be against someones privacy. At times things are shown in the media which go against peoples privacy which should not be allowed.

Good Example-Crime watch

This is a good example of access and privacy. The reason for this is because the media has access to this information and what they show the audience however they make sure they do not reveal the identity of people who wish not to shown on this show. However if they are needed for the purpose of the show they will 'censor' the footage so that the audience are unable to see the faces. At 1.56 we see how they present the facts and figures and how the people involved in find out information are presented as they are showing their roles and how they have an affect in the job they do. 3.01 when we see a footage the persons face is not clearly visible. Although they do not have proper access to the footage they show what they have as it is not going against anyones privacy. The faces are not visible meaning the footage can be used without breaking the privacy rule. At 3.05 when they are trying to find out about the issue to see how they are all involved and mention what they see and what they have found out to make it more reliable. 7.01 when we see the face of the culprit it is not censored however it is clearly visible. The reason for this may be the fact that the culprit did not mind being filmed however they would have a say as to whether they want to be part of it and whether they want the face to be visible or not.

Bad Example- Ofcom BBC news report breached girl's privacy

http://www.journalism.co.uk/news/ofcom-bbc-news-report-breached-15-year-old-girl-s-privacy/s2/a547950/

This is a bad example of access and privacy as a girls personal information was realsed. This proves how the media had access to the information however it was going against someones privacy. The fact that the girls personal information such as address, telephone number were clearly visible is totally against her privacy which means the media had wrong access to footage. Ofcom had mentioned "Given that [the girl] was under the age of 16 at the time of the broadcast and taking into account the fact that she and the personal details contained in her CV were included unobscured in the footage report, Ofcom considered that she had a legitimate expectation of privacy, in relation to the footage of her and her personal details."Dispite everything that had been said in this matter the girl and her mother have a reason to fight for what has happened as the girls identity was released and everyone is aware of personal details which means it is going against her privacy to personal information and what she wants to present to people. BBC did mention "oversight by the programme makers, who fully accepted that they should have noticed what was on screen and acted to prevent the footage being included in the programme". However this does not mean the girls privacy was restored, although nothing could be done after this situation has already taken place.

Contract with viewer
contract with viewer is when the TV show or documentary ensures that what they present to the audience is true. The person who is in charge will make sure they describe the show as what it is and nothing else. They have to make sure they abide by this rule as they have told the audience a brief of what they will present to them, therefore the facts and what's presented should be accurate.

Contact  with viewer is Good example- The order of the solar system

At 0.12 straight away we hear facts which ensure that the presenter is mentioning that which is real to the audience. By hearing facts and figures to back what the presenter is saying allows the audience have trust that what is presented to them is accurate and reliable. At 1.18 when the presenter is talking the shot used back what the presenter is saying. This also adds to the reliability of the documentary. The shots acts as evidence for what the presenter is saying and how they use the voice overs to back the documentary. At 1.30 we see people who are actually taking lead in this documentary allowing us to see what they find out. Having seen this as audience we can believe what is shown to us as we are aware that they are actually present there to see what is happening. At 1.56 we can see how the voice over and the atmosphere links however we can visually see how they present what they say. At 2.07 when the presenter is talking he is speaking from the place of action which allows adds to the accuracy as the audience are able to see what is happening. This ensures that the contract with viewer is considered as we get to see different aspects which makes our belief and trust more certain on this topic. At 2.49 we see how the man is mentioning what is happening at that time. Again this allows the audience to see the reliability and accuracy of what is presented to us. At 3.57 we see how the storm affects the area, this is real footage which allows the audience to see how the storm looks while happening live. This proves the contract with viewer was maintained throughout as they showed us different aspects of how the order of our solar system is affected. At 5.06 we see graphics used to help the presenter in describing what he has to say and how it allows the audience to see it visually in understanding what is happening.

Bad Example- 60 minute makeover

This is a bad example of contract with viewer. The reason for this is because the show states the housework is done in 60 minutes which we know is not reality. As audience we also see facts which proves that this show has not been filmed and done in 60 minutes. This breaks the contract with the viewer as they are left to thought that this show is actually done within the 60 minutes. However the audience are unaware of the fact that if everything is included meaning getting rid of old wallpapers, furniture everything like that will also take time. The show in fact does not present these facts they do not show anything of this sort and only show the audience part of the truth. The audience also see how the workers are working from the beginning of the show so we are unable to decide as to weather the workers have started from before or started when the show begun. For example at 0.08 we straight away see people working, how is the audience able to believe that the workers started at that specific time and not hours before the show begun. At 0.14 we see workers taking pillows across the room, this allows the audience to see how the workers are getting along with the work. However as audience we are unable to believe the time which it all started, as the show states this all happens within '60 minutes' however there is no proof that it is '60 minutes'. This breaks the contract with the viewer s they are left to decide weather they want to believe that everything is done in the house within 60 minutes or longer. The only time we get to hear the time and how long the workers have is right at the end. This is done to create a sense of judgement and making the performer believe what is presented to them. For example at 3.21 the lady mentions they have '30 seconds' however again this show breaks contract with viewer as we are unaware if they actually work to finish within the 30 seconds or weather they go back to touch up after. A lot of aspects within the show breaks the contract with the viewer which is why this is a bad example on contract with viewer.
